1. What was your favorite vacation location and how did you heard about it?
My favorite vacation location is Paris, France. Everybody knows something about Paris, the city of love. I think that first of all I’ve heard about it from T.V. and afterwards from some of my friends. I was in Paris almost 5 years ago for New Year’s Eve and I had the time of my life there.
2. Did you travel alone or with your family/friends (how many) ?
I traveled with 50 friends and 5 adults. I am Greek-Catholic,and the church organized this trip for us,and there was a meeting, and they divided us , the couples were sent in a part of Paris and the others, the singles one,I between them,in the other part of Paris and everyday we met in a certain point and all of us went to church for the morning ceremony.
3. How much time did you spend finding out information about this location and what resources did you use to do it (online sites/traveling agencies/friends).
First of all I saw a T.V. show about Paris and I saw there a lot of touristic places and I was impressed about it,and when I found that my church organizes a trip to Paris was very happy and I accepted right away. Afterwards I searched on online sites for other touristic informations and when I got there I want it to visit all.
4. Can you tell us the thing you like most in this place?
It was a lot of things that I liked in Paris but the one that impressed me most was Tower Eiffel and I guess that the grave of Napoleon. The things I saw there are indescribable and I wish that everyone have the possibility to go to France and see one of the most romantic city of the world.
5. What were the bad/ugly sides of your vacation?
The bad side of our vacation that I can remember right now is that we had to go to the church and me with 7 girls got lost and the tramway took us to the bad neighborhood and some Italians wanted to talk with us,they said that they will give us a helping hand, but we figured it out that they sell stolen things so we run away as fastest as we could.
6. How was your room (did you had everything you need).
I stayed with 2 girls in one room,we had T.V. so I must say that it was comfortable but I think that it could have been much better.
7. Did you take a digital camera (what model), a laptop or any other gadgets with you? (name of the gadget).
I only took with me my photo camera ,a Kodak 200 M,it is not a digital camera because I did not afford to buy one in 2001 when I was in vacation, but now the situation changed so if I will go tomorrow to Paris I will take with me my new digital camera,a Sony dsc-p 1.
8. How were the people there (the reception and people you meet)
They were very warm, with good-will,and so gentile. When we arrived there a lady helped me with my luggage to the tramway and I think that it was very nice of her to help me.
9. Did you make any new friends (are you still keeping in touch).
I did made friends there because I did not have time enough to bound friendships and also because I was there with some of my best friends so in that moment I needn’t any more friends because I had a lot of them.
10. How did you spend your time? Did you participate in any recreational activities?
In the morning we went to the church ,where the priest held the ceremony, then we took part at the discussions about youth and the problems of youth. Afterwards we went visiting,I think we visited everything that can be visited.
11. What places did you visited? (Museums, resorts, sport facilities)
First of all it was the Louvre, that was the closest to us,The Tower Eiffel, Champs Ellysse, The Grave of Napoleon, Sena, Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur, Montmatre, Moulin Rouge and a lot more.
12. What other vacation location would you recommend to the public?
First of all I recommend Paris,it is very beautiful city and you can feel the love around you and secondly I want to recommend Strasbourg because it has an impressive architecture. These 2 cities impresed me a lot.
